SYNOPSIS:
A genius musician who hates trot music and a pathetic young lady of our time who has no choice but to sing trot for a living has met! Will the two's "Making a Trot Queen Project" for their survival be succeeded?

    • Jang Joon Hyun (cast: Ji Hyun Woo)
      A famous star artist who is good at jam session.
      His music has not only musicality but also popularity.

      Although Jang Junhyun is a talented and good-looking musician,
      his nature is almost beyond human comprehension.
      This self-centered man never cares about other people.

      His first love is Park Sooin who is a trainee at Shine Star entertainment agency.
      He regards her as an angel not knowing that she is using him.

      He loves all genres of music except for country and trot music.
      Why? Because it is too old-fashioned.
      Then, he becomes to support this dowdy trot singer.
    • Choi Chun Hee (cast: Jung Eun Ji)
      Love, marriage, childbirth, relationship, house...
      Those are five things that Choi Chunhee has to give up.
      Because she has to support her troublemaking father and a mature sister.

      Once, she received attention in youth marathon field.
      But her excessive competitiveness ended up taking her to the hospital right before her winning.

      During childhood, her teacher even didn't remember her name, very unnoticeable.
      However, when she sings trot on the stage, this ordinary woman sparkles brightly.
      She does not know how to see musical notes, but she remembers the melody and lyrics when she listens to it.
    • Jo Geun Woo (cast: Shin Sung Rok)
      A young CEO of Shine Star Entertainment agency.

      Jo Geunwoo's father forces him to run the company for a year.
      But, Geunwoo knows how to run a business. He never loses in business.
      Also he is always relaxed and doesn’t get upset easily.

      This straightforward businessman embarrasses powerful men with cutting remarks.
      But, he is not the type of person who cares about the weak.

      Then, Geunwoo finds tomboyish Choonhee impressive.
      When Geunwoo realizes her talent, he tries to find her charm to commercialize.
      Then, he finds out her virtue and now he regards Choonhee as his masterpiece.
    • Park Soo In (cast: Lee Se Young)
      Junhyun's first love and a trainee of Shine Star agency with a beautiful appearance.

      A legendary singer Yang Joo Hee's daughter and she graduated from a prestigious university.
      She longs for a success just like her mother to be a famous singer.

      Sooin uses Junhyun's talent and made him compose songs for her.
      But when Junhyun falls down, she ignores him and follows Geunwoo.

      Sooin is shocked when people are only interested in Choonhee, not her.
      She just cannot accept it and she starts to abhor her.
      Now, she is fully to ready drag Choonhee down.
